Team
At OnCities we believe that it is possible to promote and implement sustainable urban development through a deep, independent and inclusive understanding and participation of local communities and territories.
We have a team of professionals specialized in international processes and strategies with more than 20 years of experience. We promote the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - including the Sustainable Development Goals -, the New Urban Agenda as well as other development agendas such as the Paris Agreement, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and the Addis Ababa Action Plan on Financing for Development.

Our team's capabilities allow us to be relevant in strategic research, analysis and innovation, focusing on monitoring, evaluation and implementation of projects in cities. Experts in identifying and understanding the dynamics and how to address them.
Our goal is to promote knowledge about the local world, as well as policies, to transform the way cities are built, planned and managed. To this end, we have woven a global network of experts specialized in sustainable development, with a spirit of co-creation in the implementation of projects.
We have worked for and on behalf of national, subnational and local governments, as well as United Nations agencies and other stakeholders on urban issues and in the conceptualization, definition, development and implementation of strategies to strengthen the capacities and competencies of territories, cities and sectors in order to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable development.
Key experiences such as drafting the zero draft of the New Urban Agenda and coordinating the negotiation to reach the final document, makes us leading, committed and knowledgeable professionals in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Mobility, housing, job creation, aging, gentrification, public space, economic activity, migration and other issues must be addressed if we are to think about the future of cities.
